Michael Conner (CEO LoungePress) Michael started simple.IT services in 2002 to meet the demands of small businesses in need of technical consultation. simple.IT designed, deployed, and maintained technical business practices, software installations, wireless networks, web-based access, support and collaboration software and other services to implement successful business tactics. Conner deployed and secured information technology software customized specifically for businesses that ranged from real estate firms to software startups. Through careful planning and a dedication to customer satisfaction, simple.IT provided comprehensive technological solutions to over 100 clients, helping businesses to increase functionality and productivity, leading to higher revenues through strategic cost saving initiatives. Prior to developing simple.IT, Conner worked with Fairfield, CT based company, SageMaker, Inc., managing project application design and usability with a team of developers, to ensure each service line was optimized and deployed to meet each customer's specific requirements. Conner worked with the professional services group to implement and roll out product installations with various Fortune 500 clients. His client base included GE Equity, UBS Warburg, and McGraw Hill.
Dale Stickney (COO LoungePress) was most recently General Partner of Digital Express a Medical digital delivery service, before that he was Vice President of FES Win-Ventures, an angel-funding group based in Silicon Valley, where he was responsible for investments in broadband and streaming video companies. Dale played an integral part in raising initial capital money for eight successful start-up companies that are currently public. Previously, Dale served as Vice President of the FES Group, where he managed a fundraising group for various non-profit organizations. For four years, Dale served as Directing Manager for Club Corporations of America in Singapore & San Francisco. Dale has extensive background in technology and finance.
Chase Schwatka (Founder TheChipLab.com) has previous experience owning a small import business called Nextapparels and brings a basic understanding of operating a business to the team. He has a BA in Finance from University of Portland. He is also a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force and will begin pilot training in 2008. His involvement in the military has taught him how to be an effective leader, follower, and manager. He maintained a 3.7 GPA at the University of Portland while managing this company and balancing his responsibilities for the Air Force.
Eric Pozzo (Vice President) has founded a variety of technology companies including First Silicon Solutions (FS2) in Lake Oswego, Oregon. FS2's primary function is to develop debug solutions for system-on-chip designers. He is on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Entrepreneur's Forum, a non-profit organization of 2,700 that fosters entrepreneurs and angel investing. He was Chair of the 2005 Angel Oregon event. He also serves on the University of Portland's Center for Entrepreneurship advisory board and is a volunteer Entrepreneur in Residence with office hours every Wednesday during the Fall semester. Eric brings absolutely unparalleled operational experience to the team.
Dan Dickau (co-founder TheChipLab.com) Currently Dan plays professional basketball for the New York Knicks and owns a basketball training camp company. He brings experience of owning his own business, incredible media connections, the ability to work under pressure, and needed capital to the team. He is also personal friends with Erick Lindgren and a few of his friends on the World Poker Tour (WPT). They have all been a tremendous help in helping us effectively target our advertising.
